The Knocking Shop loved writing songs, playing live and sometimes recording.They did not, however, get around to releasing much of the material generated. So this could be called the re-release of their unreleased second album.

The Knocking Shop released the cassette album Half Orphan in 1994.
The title track featured on a Record Collector Magazine album of 'Lost Indie Gems' & the band reformed for the launch.
A new version of Half Orphan is being released later this year, digitally & on vinyl.
A second collection of demos is also being released.
New recordings & gigs are being planned when we are all vaccinated!. ... more
